ODBC & Transaction Log

Hi, All Our site uses a resume search package which uses Informix On-line as DB server But it does not require Transaction Log. I wrote a Visual Basic program to log on the Informix Database, the INTERSOLV ODBC driver requires database transaction log be on, so VB proram can manipulate Informix data. After I start transaction log on the database, my resume package doesn't work. I can only run one of the applications. Is there any way to work around this? Do all ODBC drivers require transaction log be on? Thanks for any suggestion! yanyan@jhunix.hcf.jhu.edu
