Does anybody know what the aproximate number of oninit sessions should be under normal operating conditions for Informix 7.2. I am asking because I have 28 oninit processes running on our Sun-Ultra and I am worried that something got corrupted on our machine after a hard crash that we had recently. Please let me know how many processes of oninit are running on your system... And by the way, what are all those processes for anyway?
