Yes, but... (a) it won't be fast, and (b) you may have to worry about
the environment it receives.

You tell it to connect to the server you want it to connect to.
Eg: dbaccess mydbase@myserver script

That might make it more difficult - the comment above works on Unix and should
work on NT, but I don't know that it works on NT.

You need to set INFORMIXSERVER to the remote system, so it doesn't do anything
with the local system. You can run into that sort of trouble on Unix too.

Are you sure that the NT registry and SETNET32 etc are not getting in your
way? I'd believe almost anything about any program and its environment on
NT; Unix is downright user-friendly by comparison with NT once the defaults
don't work.
