Stored Procedure Error ! (another)

Hi all, Thanks for the earlier response. Another problem here... I insert on a table 1, there is a trigger on that, which calls a SP, which insert into table 2. Now If my insert on table 2 fails, it rolls back thewhole transaction and gives an error message. What i want is that even if my table 2 insert from SP fails, continue and commit the record that was earlier inserted in table 1. I tried giving 1. END EXCEPTION WITH RESUME in SP 2. WHENEVER ERROR CONTINUE in SP 3. NOT RAISING ANY EXCEPTION This all works fine when u execute procedure with parameters in DBACCESS but not when SP is called from trigger action. What can i do ?
