Hi,
I'm trying to migrate our Informix Dynamic Server 7.30 UC2 system from SCO
Open Server 5.0.4 to a system running Open Server 5.0.7. Every time I try to
bring it online I get the following error message in the log file:

Hi,
I've been involved transitioning two machines to 5.0.7, both with
SE7.23 or so. One worked and was deployed, the other did not and was
reverted back to 5.0.5 Informix tech support did not have much in the
way of answers. We ordered updates to (IIRC) 7.25 a few months ago, but
are still waiting, so I am unsure if this will help.
Two things to keep in mind: programs compiled on 5.0.7 will not run
on prior versions unless they have a few patches installed. I am unsure
but think these patches are not available for 5.0.4 - something to
research. Second, Informix will not be releasing any more updates for
some (all?) SCO products -

I wish you the best of luck, though.
