Hi, I have an attribute in my form: dd=discharge_date, format="mm/dd/yyyy" The problem: After I enter a date and update..then want to delete the date, leave the field blank, I get "error in field". Is there a way to accept null with the above? Thanks in advance!! Joe Joe Arcieri,CFO The Children's Home Mount Holly, NJ http://www.childrens-home.org mailto:kids@chbc.org

I tried it and the null value was accepted both with insert and update. Have a look to the column definition of discharge_date, may be you have excluded NULL-values. BTW: The ISQL version I use is 7.20UD6X4 with special Siemens features. HTH Reinhard
