Embedded "C" question with online 7.14
Hi Everybody:
This is a repost, apologies if you get this text twice.
Given:
6.02 ESQL/C
7.14 Online under AIX
I have a remote server with database, tgg.
On a client, I have a database, tgl, running an ESQL utility that:
1) opens database tgl
2) tries to access the remote database, tgg, such as
...select * int ... from tgg:ucm
Ultimately from the current database tgl, I want to do something like
this:
... insert into tem
select * from tgg:tem
where tem is the same structure in both databases.
I figured I should be able to do this with proper settings of
INFORMIXSERVER
and DBPATH. Yes, I think sqlhosts is set correctly.
As always, any help is appreciated.
