Hi there.
This one is about connections between servers.
Imagine the following situation:
In a remote node (calvin), a query is being executed, e,g,:
select * from database@hobbes:table_name
In local node (hobbes), its possible to find out the details of the remote
(say client) session, by means of onstat -x, then onstat -u , sysmaster tables
and so on. I repeat: in local node
Now suppose I log in to node calvin: How can I know the process ID / thread
address / whatever, of that session accessing node hobbes? (according to the
information i got, as explained above) Any idea?
Our installation has dozens of such annoyng automated processes, and indeed,
they ARE really annoyng. We need to track them for performance considerations.
Any help is really appreciated
Thanx in advance for your kindness
