Informix and Storage Array woes

Are there any Informix and SparcStorage Array users listening? The configuration: SparcServer 1000E Solaris 2.4 1 Storage Array with 30 X 1 gig. Informix OnLine 7.1 Our database person set up two disks in the storage array (which had been excluded from the Vol. Manager) as raw Informix partitions. One was specified as slice 2 with a 0 offset in the onconfig file and the other was specified (by accident) as slice 4 with a 0 offset in the onconfig file. I had to do a reboot after doing some non-Informix software work and it complained about corrupt labels when starting the Vol. Manager during boot. Informix's OnMonitor won't bring them online and the ssacli Vol. Manager utility says NO UNIX LABEL for these two drives. I thought if you specified slice 2 (the "c" partition in the old days) that you would just go into the data area and leave the label alone. Anybody have a clue out there? - Randy
