The real difference between RDS and I4GL is the amount of memory consumed at runtime. Try looking at the SIZE column of "ps -el" and you will find that the same RDS program can use 10 times as much RAM as I4GL. If you are deploying a small number of programs to large numbers of users, use I4GL.
