If its Informix 3.30, its unlikely OBDC access is available and dates beyond 31Dec99 will be massively incorrect. IIRC, Informix 3.3 didn't have a byte or blob data type - which would make just unloading the data and importing it into another database dicey. Using the ALL-II libraries to unload the data to a disk file (of known format) then loading this file into the other database would seem to be the best bet - assuming someone there hasn't thrown away the manuals and still knows dbfinds, dbstructviews, dbselfield, etc. :-) -- William Harris william@carsinfo.com God created everything in six days... but he didn't have to worry about backword compatibility.
