Need fast archive for Informix

I need the help of the collective net wisdom! I am searching for alternatives to ontape and on-archive. On-archive is not reliable (according to just about everyone I talk to). On-tape is just too slow. It currently takes us 20+ hours to archive our 80+ GB database. That is when there is little update/delete activity. During heavy posting, it can stretch to 40 hours for a level 0 archive. I am looking for 3rd party sources for archiving our Informix 7.1 database in parallel to multiple tape drives. The solution must either be compatible with Informix continuous logging or provide a comparable feature. I would also like to hear from anyone who is SUCCESSFULLY (archiving, restoring, and logging) using On-archive on 80+ GB databases.
