New Ports for NCR/Informix/FourGen Versions

Kerry, It sounds like you are running FourGen Enterprise Accounting and Distribution. The combination of FourGen CASE tools, their applications, and Informix can only be supported by them. Judging by the versions you reported, FourGen is focusing on current/ future ports of your NCR server / os / Informix combination, as the 3.0 os indicates. Since 2.x os on the NCR is being phased out, I understand FourGen's decision. Specifically, the 4.12 CASE tools used with NCR v3.0 is not backward compatible with earlier versions of FourGen and needs a new port. Our company, Data Pacific Corp, purchased the source code to the CASE tools from FourGen. We have enhanced the 4.12 version of Tools and support new ports to operating systems such as NCR v 3.0x and Informix 6.x 4GL and Informix 7.2x engines. Many other computer /os/ engine /language combinations require new ports of the tools as well. We re-port when necessary to keep applications current with new releases for all major platforms. Our company is comprised of 100% former FourGen employees with over a combined 50 years of FourGen product experience. Our CASE tools will also support new Web enabled products that will be released at a later date that extend existing application investment to Internet and Intranet environments.
