We needed 32 bit Inet for other > >software so we had to switch back and forth (painful). We have been using both 32 bit and 16 bit Informix wrappers on the same machine under NT 4.0. Get I-NET (Version 5.01.WJ2) for 16 bit Windows, and I-Connect for NT/95. We are using Intersolv ODBC 2.5 (2 versions required--32 bit and 16 bit) with our VB and MS/Access client-server apps and have gotten good performance and fair support. Don't bother with a 3rd-party TCP/IP stack (PCTCP). You will find that the Microsoft built-in (and free) stack is fast and it works with both 16 and 32 bit wrappers in 95 and NT.
