This is a work-around I use, it is specific to the high impact commercial printing industry, it may give you or somebody else a direction to pursue. My front end is on a MAC, the db engine is Informix On-line 5.0. Blobs of images can be called up, screen captures are done. The screen captures are converted using a script in Photoshop.
