Checking the replication

Hi!
I need a better way to compare tables.
This works, but it only shows the number of rows and will show 0 if
the replication has been successful:
select count (*) t from datadb@instance:table into temp t;
select count (*) h from datadb@instance2:table into temp h;select t.t - h.h difference from t,h;
I found the cmp_row program at iiug's web site and it seems to do what
I want but I still have to specify by hand what to compare.
It would be nice if one could write an i4GL program that finds the
defined replicates and checks them automaticly.
Is this possible with an automatic compare?
System is Inf 9.40
Best Regards,
Tor
Yes, it is possible to write such a program
or even better to enhance cmp_row to do
that automatically.
I've done several enhancements of cmp_row for
different customers.
However this will not be for free. So if you are still
interested, you might contact me.
Best regards
Eric

I will be giving a replication tutorial at the user conference which will
include various ways to verify replication tables are in sync as well as
providing a toolkit of several utilities to aid in replication support.
