sysmaster slow performance

Hi, Do you know the difference between syschktab and syschktab_fast on the sysmaster database ? On a solaris 10 sparc (11.70Fc7) no difference in response time between select * from syschktab or syschktab_fast ... same test on Solaris 10 x86 with syschktab_fast 0 seconds with syschktab 11 seconds ... Any comments will be welcome .. Thank you
