Bitmap index

Hi, How can i create bitmap index on a table in IDS. I want the statement for bitmap index creation. We are using 11.50.FC6. Thanks

Informix does not support bitmap indexes. In 11.70.xC1 you can have a Forest of Trees index which has similar performance characteristics to a bitmap index with some advantages. But, in 11.50 you are stuck with B+Tree indexes only. Art Art S.
