Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Until a while ago, I was convinced that in ESQL/C, SQLCODE was a
preprocessor macro for sqlca.sqlcode. I recently spotted the line:
extern long SQLCODE;
SQLCODE and sqlca.sqlcode are indeed distinct variables. Are they
guaranteed to contain the same value after every SQL operation?
