Problem in Date Declaration using I-NET 5.01

Our company has developed a C/S application using Informix Online 6.0 and Gupta SQLWindows ver 4.01. The middle-ware we use are FTP's PC/TCP for DOS/Win ver 2.31, I-NET for DOS ver 4.10 and Gupta SQLrouter ver 2.1. Currently we are in the process of upgrading I-NET 4.10 to I-NET for Windows ver 5.01. In I-NET ver 4.10, Date declaration is in the format of "YYYYMMDD". However, after we upgrade to I-NET 5.01, error occurs when Date format "YYYYMMDD" is used. On the other hand, if the Date is declared as using the format "MMDDYYYY", no error occurs. Does anyone has such a problem when upgrading I-NET 4.10 to I-NET 5.01? And is there a way to declare Date in the "YYYYMMDD" format rather than the "MMDDYYYY" format under I-NET 5.01?
