I would like to know when I do the following:- fglpc <prog> Does this create a p-code program or a native executable program? If not, then how do I create a native executable 4gl program? -- Posted via Talkway - http://www.talkway.com Exchange ideas on practically anything (tm).

Do you have a manual? If so, read it. fglpc creates p-code object files. c4gl is used to control the compilation of c-code object files and programs. There are no ".exe" files on systems where c4gl works. Note that c4gl comes from I4GL, but fglpc comes from I4GL-RDS; they are two different products. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
