Change chunk name

Hello I would like change chunk name: 1804efc0 10 3 0 1048575 465172 PO- /u/informix/chunki/c3 from c3 to c10. c3 is symbolic link to soft partition (md device). Now on the c3 are extents from my databases (is no free). Is possible do it don't export data from c3 and import to c10 ? ( Is possible make new link c10 to the same soft partition and reconfigure IDS to using c10 instead of c3 ? ) I'm using IDS 7.31 on Solaris Thanks in advice GG

not really no. At minimum, assuming its not a critical dbspace 9root, physlog or loglogs) the you'd need to 1/ unload all the data from the dbspace 2/ drop the dbspace 3/ recreate the dbspace and all its chunks using the new patch fo rthe chunk 4/ reload all the data sorry
