Problems Linking With DOS 4GL

I wonder if anyone can help with the following problem. We are currently in the middle of porting our applications to Informix 4GL 1.10.06c for DOS. Surprisingly until yesterday things have been going ok, then a problem occured with the Microsoft C linker we are using. Our application contains a large number of screens which, since they are all inter-linked are all part of the same EXE. Unfortunately the linker has run out of relocation entries (>32k) and falls over with a fatal error, its just not up to the job. There is an option /EXEPACK which will increase the number of entries to 512k, but this does not work with the Dos Extender that Informix use. Can anyone suggest an alternative linker which would resolve this problem. We need a workaround very quickly as our project deadlines are rapidy approaching! Any help appreciated.
