DBPath variable

Hello! I am trying to connect to an Informix database from a win98 client machine. I am using Informix connect 2.81 and testing with Ilogin Demo. I am getting error message "database 'xyz' not found on the server" . I have not written anything in the DBPATH variable in the setnet32 server information tab. Do I need to write something in this section? Thanks very much Ahmer sending to informix-list
