FYI
We got the same messages for a 5 minute period on IDS 7.30FC4 about a week
back. The event was as follows:
14:55:21 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 17890
14:58:33 Checkpoint Completed: duration was 1 seconds.
15:00:42 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 17890
15:01:02 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 17890
15:01:17 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 14950
15:01:35 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 17890
15:02:12 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 14950
15:02:43 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 14950
15:03:13 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 14950
15:03:33 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 17890
15:03:40 Checkpoint Completed: duration was 7 seconds.
15:03:57 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 14950
We have two CPU VP's, both showed up in the event (pid's 17890 & 14950), we
have not seen this occur since, and to my knowledge, had not occurred prior
to either. If anyone could shed some light on this issue, it would be
appreciated.

Subject: KAIO ERROR.
Hello I wondered if you can help me. We currently have Informix 7.1 and
in the online log I have got the following error, which has now occured
twice, what can I do about it?
08:36:07 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 1060
08:36:07 KAIO: out of OS resources, errno = 35, pid = 1061
In the error messages book, it asks you to not the occurances and then
contact the technical Support Department?
Thank you in advance,

I've seen this problem on digital before, and we needed to fix a kernel
parameter. I can't remember which one though. Check with your OS vendor
about kernel parameters surrounding KAIO.
