poll symbol in netstub.a

I am using ESQL/C 7.13.UC3 and ONLINE 7.13.UC3 on an HP 9000 running HPUX 9.04. I have encountered a symbol called poll in $INFORMIXDIR/lib/netstub.a. This conflicts with another poll symbol in another library. When I try to compile with CC, I get a error stating that I have duplicate symbols. I realize that one answer to the problem is to recompile the other library and rename the poll symbol. There are other people considering this option. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and has solved it by looking at the problem from the Informix side. Thanks. Randall Young ryoung@bix.com
