Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hello all!
I was wondering if anyone could share an example of connecting an ESQL/C
program to a remote DB server. What requirements are there? Do the libs
have to be on the same computer as the program? Do you need to compile
the ESQL source on the same machine as the server, or on the one it will
be running on, or does it even matter? Do the Env vars need to be set?
A simple example would be really helpful!
Thanks,
-Tim
