Hello, my friends. IDS 11.70.FC1IE on linux_64 redhat machine. I have an old application on windows 2000 machine, and after an Informix upgrade, I couldn´t understand why, after the client installation, the "IBM Informix ODBC driver" is not listed on the ODBC sources list. On the "Client Products Installation Guide", included on the media, section "Chapter 5 - System Requirements" page, it says: "The following list describes the system requirements for client products and Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, and Windows 7 systems." I´ve already tested it on other clients, just fine, but could anyone install it (and use it) on a windows 2000 os??? Thanks a lot for your help! Regards.
Hi Alexandre, Try use the following ODBC executable C:\\\\WINDOWS\\\\SysWOW64\\\\odbcad32.exe Best regards, Celso Cabral Coimbra Administrador de Banco de Dados ClearTech Ltda "Trust at the heart of Communications" Tel. Hello Celso! I appreciate your attention, but my client (windows 2000) doesn´t have that folder under C:\\\\winnt On newer machines (ex windows xp, windows 7) I´m using it, with no problems....
