EGL on another database?

Does EGL work on a database besides Informix? I have an application converted from 4gl to EGL both on informix database. But later they will probably switch to oracle. Thank you.

A little off topic but: can you share your experience with us? Did the transition from 4gl to egl went smooth or not? How much of the code was converted well? Are you satisfied with results? I may have some pending demo transitions, any advice would be beneficial.
