Unix client to a ODS 7.23 NT server via ODBC

Hi everyone, I'm trying to connect a ODS 7.23 server running on NT 4.0 from a Unix machine (SunOS for now). I've installed the CLI 2.5 part on SUN box, and configured the sqlhosts, .odbc.ini and INFORMIXSERVER. On the NT server, I included the SUN machine name in hosts.equiv, hosts and services. When I try the ADHOC program which comes with the CLI component, I get an error message saying: {error} STATE=S1000, CODE=0, MSG=[INTERSOLV][ODBC Informix driver][Informix]Connection does not exist. Anyone has a "recipe" for that kind of connection?
