Andy Kent asked how to set the isolation level an Ace report uses via an environment variable. Paul Watson suggested running strings on the binary. Malc identified it as SACEISOL, with SPERISOL for forms, and said he did not know where it was documented. Andy confirmed it and asked what values it takes; no answer was given.

I seem to recall reading about some environment variable (ACEISOL or
something?) that you can set to determine the isolation level an Ace
report will pick up. But I can't find anything about this in the
manuals.
Does anyone know how this is done?

Try running strings on the binary and see if you can spot it??

Yup, it's "SACEISOL". There's also "SPERISOL" for forms.
Not sure where (or if) it's documented.

Thanks, that's the one. Any idea what values it takes?
I remember seeing it either in some Release Notes or marketing blurb,
but I've never seen it in any manual. Unless it's very well hidden.
