on External table

Hi, It seems inserting into a external table will overwrite its existing contents, correct? Can we avoid this( i.e., keep existing rows)? Thanks, Frank --14dae934105530a73504ce539628
CORRECT. One option: Rename the underlying file and touch a new empty one between writes to the external table. Art Art S.
