ANNOUNCE: Unix Admin/i4GL Programmer Job in SF

I am looking for a professional individual to take over System Administration and 4GL programming for my law firm. We are a 50 person and growing firm specializing in patents and all forms of computer and technology law. We have a reasonably well established computer system running SCO ODT3.0 on Pentium systems netted together with WinNT servers, XTerminals, network printers, ISDN router connections to remote offices, Win95 based notebooks, and an Informix Online DB supporting a legal accounting and file management application in 4GL that is in constant need of enhancement and extension. You need to be an experienced Unix system administrator capable of handling everything from system and network configuration, trouble shooting and tuning to custom assembly, H/W configuration and S/W installation and setup. You also need to be a proficient C and DB programmer. Specific knowledge of SCO Unix, TK/Tcl and Informix-4GL/Online would be a plus, but not essential. The job breakdown would be about 40% sysadmin, 40% programming and 20% end user training and support. Pay is commensurate with experience and capabilities.
