BUFFERS 1000 ? You are running informix in 4Mb. How much memory do you have
on the server?
LRU_MAX_DIRTY LRU_MIN_DIRTY should be something like 4/2.
Windows version and what service packs?
What informix version - complete TC???
What becomes slow? How long does the slowness take to clear?
What does windows monitors say when the system is slow?
Post the following for a start ....
onstat -p
onstat -d
onstat -m
onstat -g seg
