Re: I-Net & Powerbuilder - Help!

This is a very frequent problem. I am sending a good answer from PS: Any, 'DBMS <DBMS> is not supported...' message means the following: 1. The Powersoft DLL named PBxxx050.DLL could not be found in the path (where xxx is the first three characters of the DBMS property of your transaction object), OR 2. That DLL could be found, but is the wrong bit version (e.g., 16-bit in a 32-bit app or vice versa), OR 3. The 'client' software (DLLs) required to connect to the database could not be found in the path. In general PBxxx050.DLL will look for a number of DLLs for the database client software (if you have QuickView on Win95 you can look at the ImportTable for PBxxx050.DLL to see which ones are needed). Jim O'Neil Powersoft Technical Support I think, in this particular case PBin5050.DLL could not be found. -- Josef Dufek ISS Brno, Czech Republic jdufek@iss.cz David Rossi <drossi@mindspring.com> wrote in article <33A91CEB.1069@mindspring.com>... > Can anyone tell be the trick in getting connected to an Informix > database with Powerbuilder or Infomaker.
