View-Problem with 5.0

We now detected a serios problem with Informix 5.0 using Views. It seems to be a problem with the permissions. There is a view specified only on 1 table. The database, all tables and views are owned by 1 user. Connect permission to the whole database is granted to public. Sometimes all users except the owner get the message 272 no SELECT permission when trying to retrieve data via this view. Selecting directly from the table is no problem!! As I said, the problem is not there the whole time and not with all views.
