First suggestion is upgrade off of 7.10.UD1. I ran this for several months, only after having 6 or 7 patches put in, to resolve some serious problems. If you can't upgrade, you can address the KAIO error, by tuning the kernel. Informix should be able to tell which kernel params need adjusting (I don't recall what they were, but MAXAIO and NABUF sound familiar). Jon ------------------------------ Jon C.
