hi, I have two problems regarding Informix 4gl 7.20. Following is the code I. First problem main define l_str char(50) define l_dt date define l_dtime datetime year to second let l_dtime = '1998-9-15 12:12:56' let l_dt = date(l_dtime) ### The following works fine on both versions of Informix 6.03 and 7.20 let l_str = l_dt, ' Hello' display l_str ### The following works fine on Informix 6.03 ### But gives core dump on Informix 7.20 on certain dates let l_str = date(l_dtime), ' Hello' display l_str end main ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- II. Second problem main define l_str,l_str1 char(80) let l_str1 = '' let l_str1 = ascii 12 --- New Page (Cntrl-L) let l_str = '<', l_str1 clipped , '>' display l_str ### In Ver 7.20 , Cntrl-L is not assigned to l_str end main I compiled both the programs on INFORMIX-4GL Version 7.20.UD1 using C4GL. However both the programs work fine on INFORMIX-4GL Version 6.03.UD1 Please reply at vinaydesai@hotmail.com
