Powerbuiler and Informix

Is anyone familiar with using PowerBuilder and Informix? Some background: - We are using PB v4.0 and accessing Informix Online v7.10.UD1 throughInformix supplied ODBC drivers - Informix does not support autocommit - Of course, Informix is pointing to PowerBuilder as the problem The problem is that whenever a table is selected in the database painter orin the datawindow painter the Informix system catalogs are locked with anexclusive lock. The locks persist until either a disconnect, or acommit/rollback is issued manually in Database Administration within the databasepainter. This would be fine except for the small problem that no one else can domuch in Informix until the locks are released.
