The last serial value should be returned in the variable
sqlca.sqlerrd[2] in 4GL and sqlca.sqlerrd[1] in ESQL/C. If you have
7.2x or later engine version, then you could use
DBINFO('sqlca.sqlerrd2') to get the last key value.

hello all,
i have a table using SERIAL keys.
i want to insert a new row and then get the 'new' key of that row.
is there a way to find the key of the row just inserted?
