Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Is there some possibility to define a column data type in Informix?
I mean like in Oracle: table%ROWTYPE.
Is there someway I can do this? I want to pass a parameter to a procedure
and I would rather pass a single one than as many as number of columns the
table has.
Can I avoid passing parameters like
execute procedure myproc( var.field1, var.field2, var.field3,... )
and do something like
execute procedure myproc( var ) ?
That would be useful :-)
