does NETTYPE sqlmux place any limits on # of sessions/connections. The output
from onstat -a shows max connections of 120 consistently. NETTYP
tlitcp,3,250,NET should allow up to 750 connections.
I might be wrong.
Max connection is maximum connections (max concurrent) since last start
database. It does not mean your IDS limit at 120 connections. You can try by
using shell script to connect to IDS (hold connection, no exit).
I think 120 connections may come from middleware, such as WebLogic or your own
Application, which hold the connections at all time.
By the way, You may check the OS parameter, such as "nfiles".
Best regards,
