Note that Motif version is more stable and "obviously" don't have problems in slow window opening and system res (it's also very fast in compiling!) 1- You can divide the creation of objects in many pieces; I mean that normally with window painter you create a class that contain the declaration of every variable object specified. You can extract this code from the class extension and add the objects after the creation of the windows. Pros: - You can create the window speedly - The object window hasn't many objects inside and you can treat then independently Cons: - I suggest you to do this only when you are sure that your window is almost ready for deployement, because you must do this operation every time you modify the window with IWP. 2- Note that incredibly labels are the objects that occupy more resources. In some cases, you can capture the window, create a bitmap with some graphical objs, remove the objs and create a picture button instead. Happy New Eraing Ivan Zoratti - A.S. Italy
