David, AutoRaid is not recommended for databases because you just add disks without control where to place your logs, temporary dbspaces, data/index spaces etc (all disks appear as one big disk). Yes , it's very easy to administrate this box, but performance will be a problem. We are using HA disk array (Model 20) - up to 20 hot-swappable disk modules (2,4,9,18 Gb each), 64M buffer cache, possibility to configure raid level 1, 5, 10. HTH, Sergey
