Try running onmode -ky, that will usually kill any lingering shared memory
segments. Or, if you have the $INFORMIXDIR/bin/onclean script, just run that
and it will clean up. Onclean is a recent addition, so depending on your
version you may or may not have it. (This is why it is important to ALWAYS
include your platform and version information when you post.)
