Re: NewEra 2.0 and Win95 ?

Hi, By the I way looked at New Era 3.0 like a month Ago At Menlo Park CA. (OFFICAILLY for 2 days). Boy! I liked it So much!. I will not write about all the features because you will get it in INFORMIX newsletter anyway. But I will tell you this. Lots of questions I have seen on this Newsgroup about New Era are Answered by 3.0. But they are focussing mainly on Group Development. One will definitley love the features presented. Especially if your project Manager looks at it He/She will definitely want that environemnt in your workplace. (Forex: Central Repository, Inline versioning ...) Version 2.11 just allows 16-bit code to run on windows 95. It won't Compile to 32 bit code. Version 3.0 will do it. We are not worried about it. Because we want a different situation for us . I think there are many others who see themselves in the same shoes-- We want to be able to develop in a environment which is better. (Obviously 32-bit) But we should be able to compile the code into any environment we want (16-bit and 32-bit). (Just 6 months ago I programmed in 8-bit) I want to know if anybody else wants the same situation.
