Re: How to write a java stored procedure in Informix?

"Java-in-the-engine" is scheduled as one of the features of the 9.2 release. It will enable you to do with Java what you can now do with c: creating user-defined data types and functions to operate on them. You'll be able to find more in the "9.2 Features" training, available first as an offering to beta test sites and then to the general public. See the Informix training schedule for your region for more detail at http://www.informix.com/training . Informix provides also an interface to its databases through JDBC. You can find information about Informix's Java API and JDBC at the Informix web site Tech Briefs section, most easily by searching on the keyword "java."
