This is probably totally irrelevant, but if you are running an SQL statement from the command line in UNIX, the syntax is: isql dbmsname statement i.e. you DON'T type ".sql" at the end of the statement. I would imagine that this is the same on a PC, although assuming anything with a PC is dangerous :-). However, I don't see how this would make the machine reboot (apart from the fact that it's a PC of course!)
