Override automated update statistics

While I find the automated update statistics feature and great addition to 11.5 I have a specific need to control or override the update statistics commands that are generated by the evaluator forcertain tables. I've searched the documentation for customization paramaters that would allow me to: 1. avoid generating commands for certain tables 2. control what level of statistics get generated for certain tables Anyone have any insight into this?
