I think we've already been to this movie. Everyone sort of agreed that just because the OS is free, doesn't mean that the database should be too. Informix pricing is realistic across the board. If we want Informix to treat Linux as a "real" port and get all the bits and bobs that "real" Unixes have, we have to pay the price for that.
